Rain City Paddle Co. was founded in the heart of Washington State, where pickleball was born. What began as a simple idea, to create paddles worthy of the sport’s legacy, has evolved into a pursuit of craftsmanship, performance, and storytelling.
We were tired of seeing the same uninspired paddles coming from so-called “premium” manufacturers—products with no clear story, no purpose, and no connection to the game or the people who play it. Pickleball deserved better. Rain City Paddle Co. was built to change that, to create paddles that stand for something, shaped by a sense of place, passion, and pride.

Our story begins on the mist-covered courts of the Pacific Northwest. The mornings are cool and quiet, the air thick with rain, and the sound of paddles echoes through the fog.
